I'm surprised that they were only interested in the honey as a sweetener and calorie source when honey has so many medicinal uses. Just off the top of my head I know it is good for sore throats and coughs, and it is a natural antiseptic, so good for wound treatment and it helps with blood circulation and rehydration after bouts of vomiting and diarrhea as well.
Glad you got caught up!
I’m sure they will end up using some of the honey medicinally, as they are aware of its benefits as an antiseptic and in wound healing. Their interest in the honey primarily as an energy source comes from their experience with previous winters during which they had barely enough to eat at times, if that. When you’re low on calories and having a hard time keeping warm, a bit of concentrated sugar like that can literally be a life saver. But yes, the honey has many other uses!

No caches in that area. Their main cache is slightly below the cabin, they are currently far above it…

Only problem with that is that if one of them slips in the mud and falls, they’re likely to drag the other along with them.

Yes, hopefully one or the other…
