Einar doesn’t have brain damage--though deficiencies of certain minerals and general lack of fuel can temporarily interfere with brain function--but he certainly doesn’t like that Bud Kilgore seems to be able to come up there and get the best of him in his own territory. I guess he ought see that as a sign that something may need to change.
The " alternative" would be for him to be eating regularly and getting stronger not weaker. If the new "guest" to the mountain were foe instead of friend he and possibly Liz & Will might be dead or captured by now.

Sorry, I know it's just a story but I am getting tired of reading the same thing over and over again, with someone given E's lifes histroy, that in real life would be smart enough to want to be at the top of his game.
Maybe I need to take a break from the story.

DeleteYes, that is true and Einar needs to realize that he's putting them in danger that way, and has no right to do so.

That simply isn't true--at least not necessarily. Many have withstood worse, and come through it. And if *you're* getting tired of Einar's life--well, think how it must be for him....
